Childhood Stuffs: The Italian Job Game

Childhood moments were mostly filled with playing games. Playing sand in the front yard, building a tent in the backyard, making car seats from beds and definitely playing games on PC. Racing games were the most played games since they were actually easy to play with. One of my favorite racing games was called The Italian Job. This game was adapted from a movie with the same title. I honestly never watched that movie but I guessed the game was quite interesting since it's different than any other racing games that race for sports. This game, just like the movie I guess, has some mission to complete. The game takes place in downtown London and Torino. Instead of completing missions the player can also have free driving around the city. Every the player passes by a landmark of London and Torino, the game will introduce the name of the landmark and give a little preview of the building. 

I could spend my free time playing this game. I barely felt bored cause there were so many cars and mission to choose. I like to play the free drive cause I could go wherever I like without time limit. Every time I crashed my car, the damage sign in the top left of the screen will be filled with green to red colors. When the damage sign was fully filled with red the game would be over. I played carefully not to hit the other cars or the buildings so that I could have more chances to live. Every time I passed a cop, I would be chased if I drove faster than the other cars. I tried to drive as slow as I could when a cop car was near so I wouldn't be chased. If I were to be chased by the cop, I'd drive as fast as I could to go away from it cause if it got me, the game would be over. 

There so many missions and tasks to choose. The missions were where we played crime or just completing tasks like collecting the checkpoint. The missions varied from the easiest to the hardest. Besides the time limit was short, there were many cops chasing since we played as criminal. We were led by an arrow sign to the direction of the place we should get before the time over. 

This game is really addicting. It's such a time killer and let all my boredom go away. The last time I played this game a lot was when I was in elementary school. As I grew up and found any things else to be busy with, I hardly played this game or any other PC games.  Lately, in the end of my campus life, I felt like missing this game and I looked it up if I could still find the link to download this. Luckily, I found it and was glad to play this game again. Even though I can't always play this like when I was younger, it feels so good to give a little time to play.
