Favorite TV Show: Pretty Little Liars

I'm not a big fan of thriller, mystery or horror movies and series. I just don't really find them interesting. But when it comes to Pretty Little Liars, it became an exception. When I first heard of the title of  'Pretty Little Liars' and seeing their poster, I thought that TV series was about girls friendship talking about boys, fashion, and the other girly things. That's the kind of TV series that I would like to watch. Although it turned out that my expectation was different with the real story of the show, I actually became more interested when the story was about terror upon a girls group since their friend was found dead. The pilot episode was quite interesting and got me more curious about how the story was going next.

The story was sort of complicated and what I could understand at first watch was there's someone who sent messages to the girls about secrets that only them knew. The sender seemed to know everything about them and used it to treat them. This terror was started after one girl in the group of five, who seemed to be the leader of them and been missing a year, was found dead. A dead body wearing clothes that she wore the night she disappeared was found buried in her backyard. Since that day, the four girls kept getting messages that led them into bad situations. They wanted to find out about the sender who signed themselves as A. They suspected that A might have something to do with their friends' death.

The story in the first season was focused on who might have been responsible for their friends' murder. In the next season, things still hadn't seemed clearer. The A finally revealed themselves in the season 2 finale episode. It turned out to be their classmate who was bullied by the dead girl. 

This show is still airing 'til now. It's the 7th season and it's said to be their last. I've been watching all season and some villains who tortured the girls had revealed themselves. The show is still going on to find out who the main villain is. I'm so curious to know who would it be. This show is really teasing since it likes to show clues about the mystery villain.

I honestly love this show and I like to watch fan theories about who A is according to the clues and the motives of the characters. It's really cool to have such critical minds over fictional series. I don't but it's really fun to keep in touch with this brilliant work.
